A Yachtmaster certificate opens up a new world since a Yachtmaster is allowed to work on yachts up to 200 ton or 24 meter. It is often used for windmill tenders and megayacht tenders. To become a Yachtmaster you have to pass an 8 hour practical examination. 

The independent yachtmaster examiner will check your manoeuvring skills, crew communication skills, knowledge of weather and COLREGs and much more. 

At the moment we organise Yachtmaster prep courses in cooperation with Portsmouth Marine Training in the UK since they run courses and exams on a monthly basis. Please inquire with us for group bookings. 

You can prepare for your Yachtmaster exam in The Netherlands with First Aid, SRC VHF marine radio and the theoretical knowledge course.
