NMEA2000 installer

A ships navigation system depends on a reliable and robust network. An NMEA2000/SeaTalkNG network is very robust, if you follow the design rules. The NMEA organises several courses per year for beginning and experienced installers and designers.

The NMEA course is organised around the METS in Amsterdam and is fully certified.

Since that training is in English we have designed a Dutch spoken (non-certified) alternative.

Options:

NMEA2000 Marine Electronics installer, certified, in English, one day. (link to NMEA website)
NMEA2000 advanced installer, certified, in English, one day. (link to NMEA website)
Dutch spoken course, at starter level, one day.
- basic rules: length of network and drop cables, powering the network etc.
- basic fault finding,
- importance of documentation
- how to set IDs, for instance for batterybanks or tank meters.
Dutch spoken advanced training, one day.
- bridging and splitting networks for large or crucial installations.
- instancing
- this course will start end of 2025

If your company uses the HISWA CAO, the Dutch spoken courses can be financed by the HISWA!
We are working on a similar arrangement for the English spoken courses.
