Please note:
Fully English courses are RYA Recognised and are valid for 3 years for Yachtmasters and RYA Instructors and many sail races. 
Dutch spoken courses are held with Dutch Watersportverbond recognition and are valid for 5 years. 

We also offer a bespoken Category-0 upgrade, for Ocean crossing races.

Topics:

  • The advantages of wearing a life jacket in case of cold water shock, hypothermia, hydrostatic squeeze and secondary drowning. This includes a lifejacket demonstration.
  • How to sound the alarm, by VHF, satphone, EPIRB or Sart?
  • What to expect during an helicopter evacuation? 
  • Resuscitation for dry and wet victims. 
  • Landlubber first aid: broken bones, shock treatment, bleeding and much more.

Maximum 12 participants, one day training. 
Dutch spoken courses are under our Dutch Watersportverbond approval, English courses are RYA recognised.
